Monday, Monday

I didn't want to disappoint anybody who has come to depend on my Monday grumbling, so decided to do a quick post. I want us all to remain regular, but must caution you, this post has little or no fiber content.
I really, really, really, am dreading this Monday, even more than usual, and would like nothing better than to pull the sheets over my head, and hide in bed all day. I am sure the Monday stormtroopers would find me though, and then there would be hell to pay.

The weather here is suppose to start heating up this week, and I'm glad. It's nearly summer, and these coolish, fall-like days have got to go. We gotta sweat, baby!

Plant tally:
- 6 out of 6 hanging baskets are still living,
although one seems determined to end it all
- All four potted arrangements are doing ok,
one is actually very lush
- Actual yard plantings, the news could be better,
but I'm not giving up yet

I am amazed that everything is still alive, this is my best effort so far. I guess watering does make a difference, huh?

Ok, that's all I got. Well, except for this:

Would you rather:

1. have the eyes of a fly OR the arms of a squid?

2. speak like you were in a Shakespeare play OR speak like Yoda?

3. be bitten by 300 mosquitos OR have 50 paper cuts that are soaking in a tub of lemon juice?

It's Monday, be off with you, and have the best day that you can.

Congrats on all the plants, your thumb has turned green! For the questions:

!. both would be cool, probably the eyes of a fly.

2. speak like I was in a Shakespearean play

3. I have been bitten by 300 mosquitos!

Have a great Monday! At least I hope it isn't too bad...

b2g - I was going to mention my brown thumb, and I am not sure if I have gotten better, or it's because the weather got cooler, lol

300 mosquito bites! YIKES!

It was hell getting out of bed for me too, I really don't want to lose my vacation mode but I don't have a choice. The powers that be would be all over my ass too.

1. have the eyes of a fly (don't know why, unless I could look at a sexy guy all day long, then I could see mulitple!).

2. speak like Yoda (Shakespear would be too irritating LOL).

3. Have 50 paper cuts that are soaking in a tub of lemon juice (I HATE itching worse than being in pain LOL).

Have a good one, and I sure hope this week goes fast! *hugs*

I have been up since 4 am, and dealing with this CHILD who is driving me batty, I have no patience today.

But if I had the arms of a squid, I could just reach over and grab her from where I am sitting.

I think I would prefer to speak like I was in a Shakespearean play, but then that may confuse everyone. What the heck, that may be fun. :)

And I think I would take mosquito bites, itchy over pain, at least you can use benedryl to get rid of the itch.

'Glad you didn't pull the sheets over your head!

Eyes of a fly;
Yoda (I could be a skrink or something, that might be quite useful); and
Paper cuts rather than donate blood to 50 mosquitos!

Yes, Monday stinks... Esp while wearing a John Deer hat, okay, bad joke.

1. Eyes of a fly, more dimensions can been seen, besides, a simple pair of sunglasses could disguise that from the world.
2. Old English any day.
3. Ouch. Itchiness or pain. Neither.

1-arms of a squid. I'd get so dizzy and puke with those fly eyes... and I've been freaked out by flys ever since I watched Jeff Goldbloom morph into that scary creature! I just can't take it!!!!!

2-I'd love to speak like yoda. But I want the same sounding voice, not just the pattern he speaks in!

3-Hmmm... probably 300 mosquitos... I can always get that after bite stuff that makes them stops stinging. But paper cuts in lemon! That's insane torture!!!! Wowser!!

Monday, I also wanted to crawl back into bed and snuggle down into the sofy comfy covers. That had partly to do with your question #3 about skeeters. I was bitten by several and I'm allergic so I was swollen so badly and medicated to the hilt. Luckily someone else could drive carpool duty..

1) The eyes of a fly b/c I think they have vision all the way around? Besides I have monkey arms already, which is close to that of a squid out of water. ;)

2) Speak like I was in a Shakespearean Play especially to honor my oldest who has acted in such, learned the dialogue and just graduated high school tues! :)Besides, I become tired of translating the Shakespearean "English" to the audience members. More fun to speak it than translate......

3) Paper cuts hands down (all puns intended). I do not swell to orange sizes from paper cuts & 300 skeeter bites would literally kill me.

Where do you come up w/ these doozies?

HOLA DB!

how come you never ask things like would you rather have a whole night of thai massage or being deep dipped in chocolate and have a beautiful companion lick the whole thing off your body??? .... Nevermind...
About those questions,
Yoda I'd be with squid arms to evil confront better... And let's see if those mosquitoes, close to me, to approach dared with all my hands a light saber holding... Paper cuts could still set me up an ambush though... Life is hard, whatthehell!

I just read about your pup,
